Corporate Opportunities with Doug Foley Drag Racing Experience
Doug Foley's Drag Racing School was formed in 1997 by professional drag racer Doug Foley after he realized an overwhelming need for a comprehensive training center where individuals could safely learn how to drag race. The initial response was so good that Foley quickly added a lease program where up-and-coming racers that attended his school could rent racecars for competition. In 2001, in an effort to fulfill another need, the school added an entertainment branch with the introduction of the Dragster Experience. This one-of-a-kind experience allows for fans of the sport to drive a dragster down the same quarter-mile racetracks where professionals compete in a safe and fun environment.
The reaction to the Dragster Experience was phenomenal and the school began adding additional dragsters and locations to accommodate demand. The next step was logical -- expand into the corporate sector and offer the Dragster Experience to entire workforces. Corporations such as the Miller Brewing Company, Phillip Morris, P.C. Richard and Sons, General Motors, and Hilton Hotels, just to name a few, have all motivated and rewarded their employees through the school. In a never-ending effort to stay ahead of the curve, the school recently added a Fantasy Ride-Along program in an 800-horsepower, two-seat dragster that allows anyone to enjoy a thrill ride with a professional drag racer at the wheel.
Doug Foley's Drag Racing School will provide your company an opportunity to make a lasting impression on clients, prospective clients, and employees as they feel the rush of driving of one of the school's extreme dragsters. With no pace cars, and no engine limiters, drivers are encouraged to push their machines to maximum performance.
With a heavy emphasis on safety, each Dragster Experience class begins with a complete safety and procedural orientation conducted by Top Fuel driver Doug Foley, the most decorated and respected quarter-mile instructor in the world. When both the driver and instructor feel comfortable enough to take to the racetrack, the student begins with a long, smoky burnout that allows them to feel the real horsepower they now command. Then it's time to step on the gas for real and launch the high-horsepower dragster down the track, zipping from a standing start to 100 mph quicker than any street car in production. It is an experience that will be cherished and remembered forever. All runs are done incrementally with each driver making a minimum of three passes, the last being a full quarter-mile pull, just like the professionals. Warning: Smiles may last for a long time!
Originally designed for those individuals that aren't comfortable enough to drive a dragster themselves, the 2-seater Ride-Along has blossomed into a so much more. Because the rail is under the command of a licensed professional, the dragster has a lot more horsepower and can reach speeds and G-forces only an elite few have ever experienced. It is the ultimate thrill ride and a great complement to the Dragster Experience.
Pit-side hospitality is easily arranged at any corporate event, providing clients the food and beverages of their choice based on individual needs. The hospitality department is capable of service for small to large groups with any menu the client desires.
Just like the professionals on the racetrack, Doug Foley's Drag Racing School realizes the importance of corporate branding, which is why they offer clients the ability to have corporate branding placed in critical focal points on the race cars themselves. Branding includes banner placement and literature throughout the hospitality area.
The staff can arrange a professional on-track photographer to catch every moment of your special guest's experience. We also offer custom made T-shirts for your event.
